Adsense Earnings: How To Get High Pay Clicks For Adsense Ads

Google Adsense is easy to optimize, if you know the simple concepts behind it and what Google, visitors, and the advertisers want from you, the information publisher.

It is easy to give them what they want. You just have to accept the reality that you need to fulfill other people's needs before they will fulfill yours. There is no free lunch. Many people throw up many webpages (or hubs) and Adsense ads all over the map, but still only earn a meager income from Adsense because they fail to meet the needs of Google, search engine visitors, and her advertisers.

Google Adwords buyer (i.e. the advertisers) want their ads to be published in context relevant pages and search results. They would bid for high value "keyword phrases" that search engine visitors would search on Google, and Google would automatically show ads near the search results for that "bid phrase", and content relevant webpage that contains that "bid phrase".

If you know what that "bid phrase" is, you can build your webpage or hub to be highly relevant to what that "phrase" is about, and place that exact phrase within your content, your tags, and your summary. (should you include it in your URL and headline? I will touch on that soon) Merely containing that "phrase" in your content will not do it, your content must be relevant. Google's bots patrols your webpages regularly to determine what your content is about, and if the bots spot some "bid phrase" in your content, Google will spawn relevant ads that target those keyword phrases.

Some bid phrases have very high Cost Per Click (CPC) value. If your webpages (hubpage) have ads that target those phrases, and your visitors click them, then you are golden.

So how do you find those high CPC keyword phrase? It's quick and easy. Use Google Adwords Tool!

Use Google Adwords Tool To Find High CPC Keywords

The Google Adwords Tool shows the price for each keyword (double click to enlarge). Use it to optimize your Adsense earning by placing expensive phrase in your content
The Google Adwords Tool shows the price for each keyword (double click to enlarge). Use it to optimize your Adsense earning by placing expensive phrase in your content

If you look at the picture above (double click to enlarge), you can see how I used the Google Adwords Tool to find some of the most lucrative CPC bid phrases for the concept word, "insurance".

For example, the phrase "best life insurance" is worth $43.71 on average!!! That means the advertisers are willing to spend $43.71 to place their ads near the search results for that phrase, or within relevant webpage contents that contain that phrase.

If someone click the ads, Google is willing to share with you an average 78.5% of that CPC revenue! Isn't that wonderful?

Note: You must have a Google Adwords Account to use the full function of Google Adwords Tool, otherwise you can only get very little information from the software. New user usually get a $100 coupons from Google (ask me if you can't find an offer), so you may sign up to claim your coupons and use it on your websites or hubs.

Search Volume: Another Key Factor To Adsense Earning

Don't forget to check the search volume for that CPC phrases. If it's not too high comparing with some of the cheaper CPC phrases, then maybe the cheaper ones would bring more revenue to your adsense ads because Revenue = Number of Clicks × Cost Per Click

The more a CPC phrase is searched by people, the more likely you will get your ads clicked. Sometime number of clicks compensate for the low CPC value of a keyword.

Don't Forget Your Own Visitors Traffic!

All the hard work to optimize your Adsense Ads is nothing if you don't do Search Engine Optimization (SEO), because no visitors will ever find your webpage through the search engine.

SEO is the art of getting Google and other search engines to list your webpage at the very first page or first few pages of the search results when visitors type in a certain phrase in the search box.

Only then can you get free traffic from the search engines. Otherwise, how can visitors ever find you? Social media sites? Sure, but social traffic usually don't click on your ads.

If you want to know how to SEO your website, blog, or hubs, you may read my post on SEO by clicking here: Google Search Engine Optimization.

The search phrase that you want the visitors to find you with must be highly relevant to the CPC keyword you want to optimize your Adsense with. For example, the SEO keyword of my other hub, "Life Insurance With Cash Value" is the exact phrase "life insurance with cash value", but the CPC keyword I try to optimize is "buy life insurance".

Usually, a good CPC keyword phrase is a bad search phrase, because good CPC phrase is very competitive. Usually other web content publishers have long ago SEO their webpages with all the lucrative CPC keywords. Otherwise, the advertisers would have built webpages with those CPC keywords instead of "buying" these keywords from Google.

Therefore, the strategy is to get free web traffic with SEO keyword that are highly searched, but lowly competed, from the search engines into your webpage, and then expose them to your expensive Google Adsense ads by optimizing the ads with your expensive CPC keywords.

Great information, and yes very helpful to those who realize that the key words and search phrases are not going to do the work alone. Like you've said, they still have to be incorporated into a well written and useful article that use them in the manner of information that people are searching them out for.

There was a time that the tool above was free to everyone to use, but I believe Adsense must have felt that it should be for paying customers. I have an adwords account, but am not a paying member yet.... yet!

Hi Pink

You don't have to be a paying member. Once you have an adwords account, you can use the full function of the Google adwords tool.

Go to Google Adwords Tool External, and sign in with your google adwords account name and password.

Hope that helps. Let me know.

well i have been an affiliate marketer for the last 2 years and have published 4 websites but I didn't know all these secrets like market research, keyword research, that is why within two years i could only earn 29 dollars from adsense. It was all because of my poor planning and recently i had too many confusions about cpc and your article really did it

You have got to have a lot of hubs or other blogs or a major site to get the traffic before you worry about other stuff.

Sometimes its the SEO of your hub. If it's done well at all, it's a good start. And they your if your content match your adsense ads that would increase the click rate.

Hii Saikit

Can we use cross clicking for earning more? ?

I mean you are from the other country and I am also belong to other country. So you have to click on my ad and I will click on your ad.

is it possible ? ?

@Akshay

NO NO NO NO NO

This is very wrong and you think no one will find out? This is NOT a smart idea at all, not only because it's wrong.

It's very easy for Google to detect any cross clicking. You have to really change the way you think and do things, and change your country. This way of doing things will continue to keep your country poor and corrupt.

It's people like you who make third world country a third world country.

Ive started building sites for only 6months now, so Im still a newbie at it..but..

I make roughly 10 euro's per day so far with just 1 dutch website! High cpc (1euro per click), low competition, high search volume. Website is ranked #1 for its main keyword mostly bcause of relevancy in CONTENT and high cpc keywords and longphrases put alltogether..
